KEY ENGLISH Test (KET)

The Key English Test (KET) is at Level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It offers a basic qualification in English and is the first step towards Cambridge Level Two, the Preliminary English Test (PET) and the rest of the Cambridge ESOL Examinations.

KET FOR SCHOOLS
KET for Schools follows exactly the same format as KET and the level of the question papers is identical. The only difference is that this test is specially designed for school pupils, making it the ideal choice for pupils at this level.

PRELIMINARY ENGLISH Test (PET)

The Preliminary English Test (PET) is at level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). A learner at this level can use English in a range of everyday situations requiring a fairly predictable use of language in their own or a foreign country, with native and non-native speakers of English.

PET FOR SCHOOLS
PET for Schools follows exactly the same format as PET and the level of the question papers is identical. The only difference is that this test is specially designed for school pupils, making it the ideal choice for pupils at this level.

The computer-based tests are the same as the paper and pen tests and lead to the same internationally recognised Cambridge ESOL certificate - only the method of completing the test is different.
